Biolumina connects curators with artists in Vieques through studio visits and time to engage with the island’s cultural context. The itinerary develops from each participant’s research interests.

Studio visits are proposed in the application according to each participant’s research interests. BCR welcomes independent and institution-affiliated curators from Puerto Rico and around the world.

We coordinate the itinerary with each participant and the proposed artists, according to their availability and agreement. There is also time to get to know the residency and explore the island.
